Training Details

If you have not done so already, please read through our Frequently Asked Questions to learn more about the training program. To register for this 10-hour Hague-compliant training course, the first step is to pay the registration fee. Once your payment is processed, you will receive further instructions to complete your registration and begin your training. Upon completing this course, all registrants will receive their certificate of completion via email. You will not receive a hard copy in the mail.

In order to adopt a child from China, you must complete a China-specific training as per requirements from the China Centre for Children’s Welfare and Adoption (CCCWA). The two-hour China training is available as a stand-alone training or packaged with the 10-hour Intercountry Adoption Journey training. For couples wishing to adopt from China, both parents are required to take this program. NCFA’s two-hour China training is available for individual use only. Couples should purchase this training separately and complete the course independently in order to receive separate completion certificates that meet the CCCWA’s guidelines.

IMPORTANT: Please note that couples may register for the Intercountry Adoption Journey training program together, but you each must enroll with separate email addresses and complete the training modules separately to receive your certificates. Your email address will be your username; the system does not allow both people to take the training using the same email address.
